     The 19th Annual SOCAN Awards Gala took place Nov. 17 at the Carlu

in Toronto, ON Canada celebrating the wide ranging success of Canada's

music creators over the past year.

 

In the Country Music Category ...

 AARON LINES was honored along with his co-writers,

 Jessica Maros and Chris Lindsey, for their smash #1 hit single

 "CHEAPER TO KEEP HER"

which achieved the greatest number of performances

Hello everyone......once again it's been way too long since my last blog. 

I just got back from an amazing trip and I wanted to tell you a little bit about it. I was fortunate enough to start working with an organization called "Plan Canada". I contacted them about 8 months ago and asked if I could be a part of what they were doing. I had researched them and heard a lot of great things about them. Lucky for me....they were interested and on Nov 3-15th I flew to Peru to see with my own eyes the kind of work they were doing.
